Contact Lenses

When it comes to contact lenses, Sneed Eye Associates is your best source for everything you need.

Whether you are interested in wearing contact lenses for the first time, are considering an upgrade for comfort and convenience,  Dr. Kari Priborsky will be happy to discuss with you the latest in contact lens innovation.

Have you ever been told that contact lenses are not an option for you?

Let Dr. Priborsky show you what’s new in contact lens technology.  She specialized hard to fit contact lens wearers.

Contact Lens Overview

There are many different kinds of contact lenses, including

  • Soft
  • Disposable
  • Toric
  • Bifocal
  • Rigid gas permeable
  • Planned replacement lenses

After a thorough eye exam and consultation with an experienced physician, patients who qualify for contact lenses can discuss which type is right for them.

All contact lenses require responsible wear and good contact lens hygiene. Regular follow-up visits are necessary to ensure that your eyes remain healthy.

In order to get fitted for contacts, one must schedule a complete ophthalmic evaluation including refraction.

We specialize in hard to fit contact lens patients.

Since contact lenses are  medical devices, an appropriate fitting session with adequate follow- up is necessary.

For new contact lens wearers, we provide education regarding contact lens care, insertion and removal. We advise all of our contact lens patients to maintain current glasses as well, to allow for clear vision while the contact lenses are out.

Many patients who have been unable to wear lenses in the past are doing well and enjoying the freedom from eyeglasses, after being fitted for contacts at Sneed Eye Associates.
