J Y Massey, MD, Board Certified Ophthalmologist

Dr. J.Y. Massey began his medical practice in Mountain Home, Arkansas by joining ophthalmologist John W. Sneed, M.D. in 1974.  Dr. Sneed founded the Sneed Eye Clinic in 1966.

The clinic was renamed the Sneed-Massey Eye Clinic in 1976.  To honor of Dr. Sneed’s retirement, the clinic adopted the original name again, Sneed Eye Clinic, in 1985.

Dr. Massey sold the clinic to Dr. Marx in 1989, but continues to practice ophthalmology at Sneed Eye Associates on a part-time basis.
